Elope to the Slope

For people working in Manhattan, a weekly run “elope to the Slope” from midtown, on Wednesday Evenings around 6:15 is organized.

We meet in the lobby of the UNICEF building (44th street, between 1st and 2nd Avenue). As we all work, we cannot guarantee this run, so ask the forum whether it will take place.

Normally we meet at 6:15, take off at 6:20 sharp.

The route is variable and discussed with the participants.

The idea is to accumulate mileage and not to have to run alone. So, in principle we stick with the slowest runner (not slower than 10 minutes per mile) until the group is big enough to split.

Depending on the route, the distance is between 6.5 miles and 8.5 miles.
