Long runs in and around Brooklyn

This is a placeholder: some information until somebody really takes it upon him to make something of it.

I started to map some long runs, but as I am not running them so often (and might want to change this), I might have made some errors in the route.

Bear with me, or better, do it better than me.

The

Red Hook - Fort Greene

run is a classic. First through brownstone Park Slope to Red hook, around the track, moving on thought the industrial quarters. Running along the expressway to Brooklyn Bridge, enjoying the quiet of Dumbo and Manhattan Bridge.

Next along the project housing to Fort greene, and back along Carlton Street. If you don’t swagger, it might be some 9.19 miles

Another one I heard some of you did, and it might be wondefull is the run to

Bay Ridge and the Verrazano Bridge

. Is this run boooring, or worthwhile? Isn’t it better to take the subway to the start? 12.75 miles
